A new face joins the cast of "The Doll." He'll play a man of science and progress.

The latest adaptation of Bolesław Prus's "The Doll," directed by Maciej Kawalski, will hit theaters next year. Filip Pławiak has joined the cast as Julian Ochocki, Izabela Łęcka's cousin and a technological enthusiast. The film will also feature Marcin Dorociński, Kamila Urzędowska, and Marek Kondrat, among others.
Maciej Kawalski's adaptation of "The Doll" promises to be one of the most spectacular adaptations, with an all-star cast joined by Filip Pławiak. The actor, acclaimed by audiences for his role in "Chyłka," will play Julian Ochocki. He says he shares a "desire to discover and create" with the character.
